Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are there overnight accommodations nearby?
    Yes! We have options within the Lacombe area listed here.
  • Do you supply tables and chairs?
    Yes, we offer both 5 ft round tables, and 8 ft rectangular tables, as well as harvest tables and white resin chairs. For more information click here.
  • Can we use fireworks or sparklers?
    We allow cold sparklers! We do not allow fireworks, or other sparklers.
  • Are you an open vendor venue?
    Yes! We love working with all vendors so you are at choice to hire whoever you best see fit! If you are wanting connections, we have recommendations we are happy to share with our couples!
  • What does the clean up process entail?
    Our staff cleans handles all standard clean up and trash removal throughout and after the reception. Please note that this does not include packing up large quantities of food, and we recommend designating someone to pack all wedding gifts/any important decor to ensure that it is kept safe!
  • When is payment due?
    We require a $1,000 date deposit. Then, 50% paid 6 months before the wedding date, and the remaining 50% to be paid 3 months before your date.
  • Do you require a date deposit?
    Yes, we require a $1,000 non refundable date deposit. We recommend cancellation insurance to be purchased through your insurance broker.
  • Where can I find photos of your inventory?

  • Are there any hidden fees?
    We do not have any additional fees besides our stylist which is an optional add on. Click here for more details!
  • What time does the music need to end?
    On Friday/Saturday music must be off 12:30am. Monday-Thursday music must be off by 10:30pm.
  • Can we keep our food in the venue overnight?
    Please ensure that there is someone designated to transport any remaining food and/or wedding cake. We do not allow food to be left in the venue overnight as you will not have access to it the following day.
  • What is your venue capacity?
    Our venue's capacity is 200. We can have up to 240 people but we recommend around 200 people, 200+ does require moving tables to accommodate a dance floor.
  • Can vehicles be left overnight?
    Yes vehicles are allowed to be left overnight, camping and sleeping in vehicles is not permitted. All vehicles must be picked up the following day by 10am.
  • We only plan to have our reception at Tin Roof Event Centre. Does the fee change?
    Since we only host one wedding a day, our fee remains the same whether you only have your ceremony, reception, or both on site.
  • How can I arrange a tour?

  • What dates are you available?
    Please see the available dates here.
  • Do you supply table linens, cups, silverware, etc?
    While Tin Roof Event Centre provides the tables, chairs, arches, and table decor we do not have table linens, cups, silverware, etc. For more information on our included decor click here. And for table cloths, cups, etc. they can be rented through various decor rentals.
  • When does the bar need to be closed?
    On Friday/Saturday the bar must be closed by 12:30am. Monday-Thursday the bar must be closed by 10:30pm.
  • What time will I have access to the venue to begin decorating?
    You will have access to the venue at 9:00am!
  • How do I book a date?
    To book your date you can email us at tinroofeventcentre@gmail.com letting us know your desired date you are wanting to book! Prior to booking we recommend our couples come for a complimentary tour. You can book a tour through our tour request page, an in person tour is not required prior to booking.
  • What forms of payment does Tin Roof Event Centre accept?
    We accept e-transfer, cheque, or credit card. If you plan on paying with a credit card please note that there is a service fee of 3.5%.
  • Do I need to schedule a tour?
    Yes, we require tours to be scheduled. You can book your tour here.
  • Are candles allowed?
    We allow flameless candles at Tin Roof. There are flameless candles available in our decor inventory, if you wish to use ours.
  • Do you offer any decor packages?
    Yes, we do offer decor, which is included in any wedding package when you book with us! View our Decor Inventory here. We also have some great recommendations on our Vendor page to connect you with decor specialists.
  • How far in advance do you need our final numbers, seating chart, licenses, etc.?
    We require all licenses, headcount, and seating charts to be finalized 3 weeks before the wedding.
  • Do you allow dogs on site?
